Who am I, and what is this site all about you ask?

My name is Steve or Stevo depending on who you ask. I'm currently finishing my PhD in Chemistry at UC Berkeley right now, and to help maintain my sanity I started this photoblog. I wouldn't say there is much of a theme to the site, but you'll see plenty of kites, San Francisco Bay, and photos taken up in wine country for sure. I mainly shoot with a Nikon D80 and my 18-200 VR lens (I love that lens) but I'm looking at getting a new 105 macro, so you may start seeing some more macro photography soon as well.
