| I made this HDR (High Dynamic Range) photo from a series of images I took at Old City Falls in Strafford, VT. Despite some poor forecasts, we had some fantastic weather while we were in VT. During the day we could go for hikes like this one, and in the evening it was cool enough to light a fire. As for the photo, I really think the HDR processing works here. Since the river and falls were so shaded, to set my exposure for those would completely wash out the sky. By combining the differently exposed images here, I was able to create a photo with more detail and depth than would otherwise be possible. |
